The track "Wherever We Go" from Chaz Jankel's latest album has proved to be the top song for the year 2010.
"Wherever We Go" is a song that can get easily hummed because of its addictive melody."Wherever We Go" is also a song with strong social message.
Chaz Jankel has been responsible for much of the funk influences in the Ian Dury And The Blockheads music.
As band member in the Blockheads (keyboards, guitar), co-wrote the hit singles: Hit me with your Rhythm stick, Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, and Reasons to be Cheerful.
The disco influenced dance classic "Glad to Know You" has been a milestone in his solo career while legendary Quincy Jones picked one of Chaz's songs, "Ai no Corrida", for the leading single in his "The Dude" (1981) album to gain worldwide success.
Chaz Jankel has also composed music for the films D.O.A. and Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, among others.
